With regards to doubts, i trust MP.

But, i don't trust the board - hopefully, they prove me wrong.

RJ,

We're 9th in the league, we're not struggling. We're just mediocre, with the odd bit of brilliance one week with a bad performance the next week

Let's get some players back and see what happens in the summer with regards to who goes and comes in.

I understand where you’re both coming from and it’s a valid point.
It takes time to adapt to a “way” of playing and it’ not something you can perfect on the training ground, it needs to be played out in real life matches.
However, you still have to compete in the here and now, you have to play with what’s at your disposal and that’s something he’s failing to do.
It’s tough to get the balance right and time is on his side but it’s definitely not open ended and I’m sure doubts are creeping in.

RJ,

I understand where you're coming from, with regards to the tactics , MP does or doesn't employ.

But, i think that MP is wily old fox and wants to show to the owners, that he wants to play his way. That means showing up the deficiencies in the squad. That forces the owners to have players shipped out and brought in.

Now, you can argue, he can shuffle the pack to match the other team and maybe get a better result, but then all that says to the owners is " Oh, Manuel is getting enough out of these players, no need to get others in".

Its frustraring in the short term, but i think MP is playing the long game. Its about time we had a manager who wants to stick to his principles in order to get an expansive, exciting team, rather than the usual fucking 'make do' managers.

Because of the money in football now, everything is too short term, so it favours too many of the pragmatic types. Let's be brave and see where it takes us.

yes, palace were very good 2nd half. zaha down our right had side would be great. showed though that we still need replacements accompany rice as the current options aren't good enough

Takishi,
We were the better side 1st half agreed, Roy made a slight tactical change, he realised 4 defenders marking Chico left them outnumbered, pushed 1 into the middle and Pellegrini was fucked, didn’t have a clue how to stem the tide and we were extremely lucky to nick a point.
Antonio was one of our better players so maybe pulling Chico and sticking him through the middle world have been a better sub ? However I still understand the reasoning behind it, didn’t work mind but he had to do something .

The offsides looked close and it would have been useful to see it from the linesman’s angle.

At least MOTD showed the foul on Noble that should have meant a second yellow.

On the Fulham- Man Utd game, Danny Murphy started talking about Fulham’s mistakes, but was soon shot down by Lineker. Enough about Fulham, we are here to talk about “United”.

Re: ⚽ Crystal Palace v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 1-1
I don’t think there was discussion on any possible offsides. Were a few occasions where players appeared to be ahead of the play and clear but that may have been our poor organisation in keeping a line.

Mane was leaning offside for Liverpools opening goal but that was shrugged off as ‘a bit of luck’.

Forget the Brexit countdown can we have one to the introduction of VAR?

A painful match: in the first part the rival team bad and we were not able to make more goals; the second part, since Arnautovic entered, balls in length, (Arnautovic = Carroll?).
The best scorer of the team in the stands ....... Pellegrini wakes up already .... ahhhh: Antonio right now can not be replaced.

Brentford The Davids didn't trust Bilic or Moyes with transfer money to the tune of 100 Million. A 2 year delay to the "The project" Day 1 was when Pelligrini joined

I watched MOTD and all of the offsides that we thought should've been awarded weren't shown from a decisive angle...so were they right or wrong?

I have high standards and am ambitious sold, that is all. I do genuinely feel that we have been treated unfairly, in recent years, no idea why to be honest so yes it sounds ridiculous, but have had some terrible decisions go against us regularly. I do also know that G&S are clueless chancers way out of their depth and the club will never fulfil its huge potential whilst they are here, we are more likeky to go down again than that happening. They have been her 9 years and we are still lower mid table side one crisis away or one wrong managerial appointment away from another relegation. Pelligrini is a decent manager but hardly a shrewd unknown signing, he is the only reason we are tenth with a bit of optimism.
Who did you play for

I can think of some truly shoking obvious ones too in recent years but can't think of one that matches up to them

Milivojevic having a laugh with the MOTD interviewer about staying on the pitch.
Wild hack at Noble nowhere near the ball.
Obvious second yellow
These things even themselves out you know

Hang on wasn't it only a few weeks ago that Nobes himself should have got a red and everyone on here was saying Woooooooo that was lucky for us?? So yeah it probably does...

"I ger the Antonio sub, thought he played well but had lost his discipline and was bombing forward leaving us outnumbered in midfield."

i disagree. his bombing forward was keeping the ball down their end and also occupying zaha who was backing up the LB. as soon as antonio went off, zaha had the freedom to stay up the pitch as snodgrass wasn't interested staying wide
